Thomas, the founder of the company Garden Gameston, was not actually the first to start it all. The origins go back to Alice Parks, who initially created a small studio called Orange Tree Bar. Alice and Thomas worked together in the early days, she led the project, but ended up stepping aside and transferring control to Thomas, who then renamed the studio Garden Gameston. There is a possibility that Thomas was related to Alice, perhaps her grandson, but we do not know if this is really true. As for what the Orange Tree Bar was like in its early days... well, that would be a topic for hours, so we will leave it for another time Thomas officially founded Garden Gameston in early 1992 and began development of the studio's first game: Villemorny. He started the project alone, but soon called on a childhood friend, Eric Martins, to help. Very little is known about Eric; the only concrete information is that he was responsible for character design and may have left some work on the page of deleted designs from the time. In 1999, Thomas hired three more people to support the development of Villemorny, which was already more ambitious. However, in 2000, Eric mysteriously disappeared, leaving Thomas and the rest of the team without any news. Interestingly, in the same year, there are no more public records of Thomas' whereabouts either. It was not until 2001 that the local police department began an investigation at the location where the studio was located. I also discovered that, starting the same year as Thomas' disappearance, the other developers began to disappear little by little, one by one, without a trace or any explanation. To this day, there is no concrete news about the whereabouts of any of them. I truly hope they are okay... wherever they are.
